GEORGE MILTON SHORT, 91, passed away February 12, 2018.
He was a retired employee of Tube Turns and an Air Force veteran of WW II.
Preceded in death by his parents, Virgie and Edward O. Short, his five sisters and three brothers.
Survivors include his beloved wife of 61 years, Shirley (Beam) Short; his son, Donald Short (Brenda); grandchildren, Lisa Floyd (Jeff), Chris Short (Kristi) and Angela Short (Jonathan); seven great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren; sister-in-law, Karen Short; and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be 12 p.m. Friday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Highway with burial in Evergreen Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 2 – 8 p.m. Thursday.
