Elinore P. Donahue(Mulrooney) age 90 of Milton, passed away February 3rd at home surrounded by her loving family. Born in Brooklyn, NY, she graduated from Mt. St. Joseph’s Academy in Brighton and Wyndham Jr. College in Boston. She worked as a Purchasing Agent for the Carney Hospital for many years before retiring. She was a devoted wife and mother and her family was always her priority. Mrs. Donahue's very favorite hobby was buying and then returning to Macy's. She also loved to travel and work in her garden and was a voracious reader.
Beloved wife of 56 years to the late John J Donahue. Devoted and very loyal mother to Cheryl D. Kane and husband Russell Osborne of Milton; the late Jackie Donahue and his wife, Barbara of Holbrook; Thomas Donahue of Dorchester, Mark Donahue and wife Rhonda of Milton. Elinore was blessed with several grandchildren: the late Sean Donahue; Michael, Tye, Perry & his wife Jodi, Reilly, Adrian, Charlotte, Jamie & Parker Donahue. Step grandmother of Melissa Osborne.

Visiting hours at the Alfred D. Thomas Funeral Home 326 Granite Ave Milton Tuesday 4:00pm – 7:00 pm. Burial Milton Cemetery.
