Obituary

James P. Theriault, 47, of Brockton, died unexpectedly January 2, 2018. He was born in Brockton and was the beloved son of Carol A. (Kenney) Theriault of Brockton and the late Joseph N. Theriault. Jim attended Brockton Schools and remained a lifelong resident of the city.

Jim had recently been employed by Moduline Aluminum Cabinets in Brockton. Over the years he worked for several local paving and highway maintenance companies. In his free-time he enjoyed being outdoors, fishing and skiing but most importantly attending his children’s sporting events.

He will be remembered as a man who was always ready to give you a helping hand whenever he could. He was loved by all who knew him and those who had only recently met him. Jim enjoyed time with his family and was very proud of his children.

In addition to his mother Carol, Jim is survived by his two children James P. Theriault, Jr., his twin sister Kaylee, and his former wife Tania Ramos Theriault of Brockton. He was the loving brother of Jeanne Tobin and her husband Charles of Lowell, Joseph Theriault and his wife Jacqueline of Middleboro, John Theriault and his wife Linda of Middleboro, Michael Theriault of Brockton, Aimee Kowalker and her husband Chuck of Middleboro and the late Robert Theriault. He also leaves many nieces and nephews, several cousins and two aunts.

Visitation will be held in the Conley Funeral Home 138 Belmont St. (rte. 123) Brockton on Friday, January 26, from 4-6:30pm followed by a prayer service. In lieu of flowers, donations in Jim’s memory may be made Father Bill's & Mainspring House, 422 Washington Street, Quincy, MA 02169.

Lastly, the Theriault family wants to extend a heartfelt thank you to all our family and friends for their love and support and those who have helped with our search to bring Jimmy home to us. We love you all!
