Milton Rothschild was born on August 5, 1929 and died on January 15, 2018. Milt was born in Brooklyn, New York and was a proud graduate of Brooklyn Technical High School. He went to USC and had a long career as a chemical engineer. Milt met his sweetheart, Lee Klein, and they were married just short of 65 years. Milt had a sense of humor that stayed with him until the end of his life. He was Scoutmaster and Jewish chaplain for the Boy Scouts. He enjoyed gardening, volunteering at Channel Islands National Park, and being with congregants at Congregation Am Hayam. Milt was known as Grumpy to his grand children, a name he chose himself. He was the father of Dan (Susan), Lennie (deceased), and Jennifer (Dana). He was the grandfather of Alexi, Zachary, Michael, Tyler, and Kyle and the great grandfather of Rose. We will carry his humor and love wuth us. We appreciate the loving care provided by Charter Oaks including Harvey, Edith and Jojo. Funeral services officiated by Rabbi J.B. Sacks will be held on Wednesday, January 17 at 3 pm at Ivy Lawn Ventura 5400 Valentine Road.
