Anne Elizabeth Pompeo passed away peacefully on January 5, 2018. Anne Elizabeth was the beloved daughter of Alfred P. Pompeo Sr. and Joyce R. Pompeo, of Medford, Mass and Wells, Maine.

Anne Elizabeth was a special daughter to her parents and a cherished sister to her siblings. Her life held meaning and purpose to her family and caregivers who were blessed to have her in their lives. Her soul touched the hearts of all who knew her. Anne Elizabeth is survived by her mother Joyce, of Wells, Maine and her brothers and sisters and their spouses, Jane of St. Johnsbury, VT, Alfred Jr. and Geraldine (Morris) Pompeo of Medford, Mary Ann and Joseph Hallahan of Saugus, Nancy and Patrick Giammarco of Medfield, Lisa and Bud MacAulay of Durango, CO, John and Wendy (Warner) Pompeo of Medford and Stephen and Kim (Duffy) Pompeo of Medford. Also survived by 15 nieces and nephews and 9 grand nieces and nephews.

Anne Elizabeth was pre-deceased by her father Alfred P. Pompeo in 2013 and her nephew, Benjamin Nickerson in 2015.The family wishes to express gratitude and appreciation to the former staff of the Walter E. Fernald School of Waltham, MA, the current staff at the Wrentham Developmental Center for their care throughout her life and the staff at Sturdy Memorial Hospital. In lieu of flowers the family requests contributions to the Wrentham Developmental Center, Special Gift Fund, P.O. Box 144, Wrentham, MA 02093.

A funeral mass will be celebrated in St. Raphael Church, 512 High Street, Medford, Saturday, January 13th at 11AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
