Noel Burton Bennett, Sr., 85, died Saturday, January 6th, 2018. He was the husband of the late Fern G. (Bosse) Bennett.
Born in New York, New York, he was a son of the late Thomas and Edith (Burton) Bennett. He had been a plant manager at the Plastic Group of America for many years. He had served in the United States Army during the Korean War, stationed in Salzburg, Austria where his first two children were born. He had lived in North Attleboro for over forty years, having moved from Franklin, Massachusetts to make his home there.
He is survived by his children, Debbie L. Ross of Pawtucket, Noel B. Bennett, Jr. of North Providence and Thomas J. Bennett of Greenville, as well as his step-daughter, Debra Barrington of North Attleboro, Massachusetts and his ten grandchildren and four great grandchildren. He is predeceased by his brother, Thomas M. Bennett and his former wife, Nancy (Novarine) Bennett.
Services will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
