Survived by sisters Rosalyn, Rita & Mary Kay; children David (Dianne), Christine (Brad) Stevens, Catherine (Shawn) Meakins; grandchildren Matthew & Sydney Burd. Memorial gathering Thursday, Nov. 30, 4 to 8 pm at SANDBERG FUNERAL HOME, 2593 E. 7th Ave., North St. Paul. Graveside service Saturday, Dec. 2, 1 pm at Mt. Olivet Cemetery near Dubuque, IA. He started his career teaching at Immaculate Conception School in Kieler, WI, where he met his wife, Sharon. He continued at St. Regis Paper Co/Georgia Pacific in Dubuque. Retired from American Carton & Polybag in Minneapolis, MN. Fran was very honored for his career & friends at American Carton & Polybag, Liberty Carton and John Halper Box Co. in the Twin Cities.
