Passed away on November 12, 2017
Verni was born in Bone Lake, Wisconsin. She married William (Bill) Mikiska on August 21, 1954 and together they loved to travel and spend time with their grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband Bill; brothers Helmuth, Paul & Dick; & son-in-law Charles Byrd. Verni is survived by daughters Sandra Byrd & Susan (Paul) Branshaw; 2 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; one sister Lorenda Brown; many nieces, nephews, other relatives & friends. The family would like to thank the staff at Cherrywood Pointe of Forest Lake and St. Croix Hospice. Memorial Service Monday (11/20) at 11AM at St. Mark's Lutheran Church, 2499 N. Helen St. North St. Paul, MN Door 7. Visitation starting at 10AM at church. Interment St. Mary’s Cemetery in St. North St. Paul. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred.
