John P. Burghardt, 32, of Meadowbrook Drive, Johnston, died Friday, November 3, 2017 at his home. He was the beloved son of Donald and Maryann (Laliberte) Burghardt of Johnston.
Born in Providence, he had lived in Johnston his whole life. He was a Fireman/ EMT at Electric Boat in Quonset. He had previously been a volunteer Fireman and Cardiac EMT for Hope Jackson Fire Department.
Besides his parents he is survived by his grandmother, Dorothy Diaz of Johnston as well as many aunts and uncles, cousins and friends.
His Mass of Christian Burial to which relatives and friends are invited will be held Friday at 10 am in St. Joseph Church, 144 Danielson Pike, Scituate. Burial will follow in St. Ann’s Cemetery, Cranston. Visitation Thursday, 4-7:30pm in the Anderson-Winfield Funeral Home, Rt 44 at Greenville Common, Greenville.
