FALL RIVER – Jason S. Tavares, age 34 of Fall River, passed away Thursday, Nov. 2, 2017 at Charlton Memorial Hospital. He was the beloved son of Kenneth A. & Maria Rose (Cardoso) Tavares. Jason was a graduate of Diman Regional Voc. High School, a graduate of B.C.C., and he also attended UMASS Dartmouth.
Jason was currently working for the Hampton Inn & Suites in Westport. He was an avid fan of the Boston Celtics, N.E. Patriots, and the Boston Red Sox.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his loving daughter: Savannah; his brother: Jeffrey Tavares; maternal grandmother: Marcoline Cardoso; aunts, uncles, cousins, & friends.
His funeral will take place from the Manuel Rogers & Sons Funeral Home, Inc. 1521 N. Main St. Fall River on Tuesday at 9:00 A.M. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in Holy Name Church at 10:00 A.M. Interment in St. Patrick’s Cemetery. Calling hours on Monday 5-8 P.M. www.rogersfuneral.com.
