Marilyn E, Gabaree, age 93 of Medford and a former longtime resident of Hyannis, passed away peacefully, October 24, 2017, at the Lawrence Memorial Hospital in Medford. Born in Somerville she was the daughter of the late Francis and Lillian Howland.

Marilyn was extremely devoted to her family and cherished spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was an avid fan of the Boston Red Sox and will be fondly remembered for fun and witty personality.

She was the devoted mother of Dale Howland of Mashpee and the late Cheryl E. Gabaree. She was the loving grandmother of John Gabaree and his wife Diane of Wilmington, Christina Gabaree of Somerville, Kimberly Morgado and her husband Danny of Mashpee, and Allison Howland of Hyannis. She is also survived by her great grandchildren; Kyle, Krista, Justin, Jacob, Mason and Jillian. Sister of the late John Howard.

A funeral service will be conducted in the Dello Russo Family Funeral Home, 374 Main St., Wilmington, Friday, October 27th, at 7 p.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend and may visit with the family prior to the service from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Interment services will be private.
