Patricia R. (Patenaude) Blenkhorn, 82 of Salem, passed away at home, with her family by her side, on Monday, October 16, 2017. She fought a courageous battle, for many years, with her heart and many health issues. Pat was the devoted wife of Robert E. Blenkhorn with whom she shared 62 years of marriage.
Born and raised in Salem, she was the daughter of the late Warren and Rosana (St. Armand) Patenaude.
Married to Bob in September of 1955, Pat was a loving wife and loving stay at home mom. She was the matriarch of the family, who took special pride in her children’s and grandchildren’s activities and accomplishments.
In addition to her husband Bob, she is survived by two daughters, Ms Pamela DiFloures of Manchester, NH, Patricia Turner and her husband Richard of Lynn, 5 grandchildren, Jennifer Tessier, Ashley Turner, Nicole Stone, Bernie DiFloures and Meghan Turner, a great-grandson, Will Tessier as well as several nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to calling hours on Thursday, October 19, 2017, from 4:00 to 7:00 PM in the Levesque Funeral Home, 163 Lafayette St. [Route 114 / 1-A] Salem with a vigil service at 6:15 PM.
