Milton - Maloney, Margaret A. (Gildea), age 83, passed away peacefully in the company of her loving family on October 2, 2017. Originally from Codman Square, she had been a longtime Milton resident. The wife of the late John F. Maloney, Margaret was the devoted mother of Laura J. Cronin of York, ME, John F. of Plymouth, Joseph F. of Norton, Frank of Rockland and the late Robert “Bubba” Maloney. She was the sister of Mary Nolan and Sheila Fullam, both of Dorchester and the late Rose Corcoran and Sally Carroll. Mrs. Maloney is also survived by 12 cherished grandchildren. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Agatha Church, Milton, Tuesday, October 10, 2017 at 10:30 am. Visiting hours will be held at the Alfred D. Thomas Funeral Home, 326 Granite Ave., Milton, Monday, October 9, 2017 from 4 to 8 PM. Burial in Milton Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in her memory to Milton Council On Aging, 10 Walnut St., Milton, MA 02186.
