Leeann H. Charvet
9/30/2017

Leeann H. Charvet, 52, of Grandview, passed away at her home while in her husband’s arms and with her cousin, Debbie McIntire at her side on September 30, 2017 at 1:08 pm.
Leeann was born in Prosser on November 4, 1964 to John and Sharon (Morris) Highsmith. She was raised and educated in Grandview and worked on a local dairy farm. Leeann married Patrick Charvet on July 14, 1990 at Anderson Lodge in Ridgefield, WA. The couple moved to Coeur d’Alene, Idaho where she provided daycare in her home. She later managed Baskin & Robins and worked as a flagger during road construction. They moved to Elk, WA and she worked at a dairy farm until 2006, when the couple returned to the Yakima Valley to be closer to family.
Leeann always put others before herself and if you were a friend of hers, she would do anything for you. She loved going to the mountains and loved animals. She enjoyed playing with her dogs, Carlin and Hoodie as well as cake baking and decorating.
She is survived by her husband of twenty-seven years, Patrick of Grandview; brother, Dwain (Maria) Highsmith of Vacaville, CA and their sons, Alex and Johnny; sister, Terry (Paul) Bailey of Moxee and their sons, Dustin and Dylan; and brother-in-law, Leon Wells of Yakima and sons, Kurtis and Jason. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Brett Highsmith; and sisters, Cynthia Highsmith and Kim Wells.
Private family services will be held in the spring. Memorials may be made to the ASPCA. You may leave a message for the family at www.Prosserfuneralhome.com
