Peter J. Quinn, age 60, of Taunton, died peacefully September 29, 2017 at Golden Living Center, Wedgemere at Taunton, following a lengthy illness. Born, raised and educated in Brockton, he was the son of the late Joseph P. and Lillian A. (Akerblom) Quinn. For 15 years, Peter was employed at Disney World in Florida, in the Locksmith Security Department. He later moved to Myrtle Beach, SC and for the past ten years resided in Taunton. Peter was an avid Red Sox fan and also enjoyed gardening, politics, making model ships and jig saw puzzles.
Peter is survived by his children, Kathy M. Daigle of Florida, Peter J. Quinn, Jr. and Paul R. Quinn both of South Carolina; four grandchildren Timothy and Ian Daigle of Florida and Hailey and Lillian Quinn of South Carolina and two sisters Debra Quinn of Taunton and Pamela Spargur of Virginia.
A Graveside Service will be held at a later date in Melrose Cemetery, Brockton.
