Doris H. (Decelles) Burlingame, 77, died unexpectedly Saturday, September 23, 2017 while vacationing in Maine. She leaves her husband Richard W. Burlingame, her three children; Suzan Vail( predeceased by husband Ken Vail )and daughters, Samantha and Tamara Westall, Charles Mandeville and his wife Nancy and their sons, Timothy and Keith Mayotte and wife Jessica, John Mandeville and spouse Erin Waite, step-children, Steven Burlingame and his wife Dorothy, their daughters, Emily and Ray Landry and Kimberly, Anne Irish and husband Ray and their children Jonathan, Bethany, Kayleigh, Kathy and husband John Giangregorio and their children Jessica Nunes and husband Felipe, Adam, Cheryl and Richard’s many great grandchildren.
Doris, the daughter of Gertrude and Charles Decelles and sister to Robert and Phillipe Decelles, both predeceased, and surviving wife Theresa Decelles. Predeceased by two husbands Esq. Louis Hulburt and Paul Mandeville. She was born in Webster, moved to Charlton with Louis and children in 1978.
She was a bank teller for many years, ending her career as a teller supervisor at TD Bank North.
Doris was an avid traveler enjoying many family vacations as a world traveler, during her marriage to Richard, they experienced many natural wonders first hand in the United States. Doris gave of herself as a volunteer at Summit Elderly Day, as a eucharistic minister, and through the Mary Martha Guild at St. Joseph’s Church.
Funeral Services will be on Saturday, September 30, 2017. Calling Hours will be from 9-10AM (Kindly meet at the Church) followed by a Funeral Mass of Christian Burial at 10AM in St. Joseph’s Church, 10 H-Putnam Rd., Ext., burial will follow in West Ridge Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, Memorial donations may be made to: St. Joseph’s Mary Martha Guild to help perpetuate the memory of Doris; goodwill and charity to those in need.
