Obituary

Jane M. Brown, 54, of Wareham, passed away on September 2, 2017. She was the beloved wife of Bill Brown, a New Bedford Firefighter of Wareham. Loving mother of Alex Bracchi, and his wife Tina of Kingston, Chelsea Bracchi of Pembroke and Maya Brown, of Wareham. She was the proud Nana of Jacob and Dominic Bracchi. She also leaves behind her best friend Rosemary Jensen, and her in- laws, Bill and Nancy Brown, and a sister in law Kristi Conchinha. Jane is the daughter of the late George Bearse and Maureen Bearse (Condry), both originally from Dorchester. Cherished sister of Robert Bearse of FL, Susan Provost of Pembroke, the late David C. Bearse, Cindy Preston of CA, Joanne Geer of NC, Jill Bearse of Plympton, John Bearse of Bridgewater and Joseph Bearse of Pembroke. Loving aunt to to David L. Bearse, Dawn Bearse Haran, Gerri Provost Schaffert, Alan Provost, Elizabeth Provost Duggan, Monty, Jillian, Allyson & Nolan Geer, Ryan, Cailin & Jaime Preston, and Jack & Jeffrey Bearse. Also, great aunt to Kayla McNulty Bearse & Jaden Bearse, William, Ryan & Isabella Haran, Vivian Provost and her brother sister JJ and Hallie, Rachael & Laura Schaffert, Sean, Luke and Will Duggan, and Kelsey Geer. Jane was an avid crafter and DIY enthusiast. She took great pride in her beautiful home and added her creative touch to every project she took on. She was a loyal friend who was admired for her candid personality and fantastic and witty sense of humor. She loved music, especially Pearl Jam, and attended many concerts with her husband, Bill. She loved being social, enjoyed game nights with friends (complete with a few Mike’s or sangrias of course,) and had an innate ability of making those around her feel special. Jane was exceptionally warm and loving toward her friends and family and if there was a baby around, chances are, she was holding it! She was a fun aunt and caring sister. Most importantly, she was a devoted mother to her three children and a proud Nana to her two grandsons.
Visiting Hours will be held at the Shepherd Funeral Home, 7 Mattakeesett St, Pembroke on Thursday, September 7, from 3:00 to 8:00PM. A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, September 8, at 10:00AM at St. Theclas Church in Pembroke. Interment will follow at the Center Cemetery in Pembroke.
