Sullivan, John L., Jr., age 63, of Canton, formerly a longtime resident of Milton, passed away on August 31, 2017 after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. He was the devoted husband and best friend to “the love of his life” Debra J. (Whalen), the cherished son of John L. Sullivan, Sr. and the late Jean E. (Sweeney), the brother of James Sullivan of Sandwich, Maryann Beamon and her husband Richard of Lexington, Kathleen Cosgrove and her husband Daniel of Norwell, Lawrence Sullivan and his wife Diane of Milton, and Jean Bailey and husband Michael of Norwell. He leaves behind his stepchildren, Bradley Truczinksas and Ryan Truczinksas and his wife Kimberly all of Easton, sister-in-law Kathy O’Loughlin and her husband Michael, brother-in-law Stephan Whalen and his wife Maureen of Easton, three beautiful grandchildren, Matthew, Paige and Ashley Truczinksas, who gave him great joy, many nieces and nephews and a special Godmother, Phyllis Palmer.
Jack worked hard and was employed by Amtrak for the last 23 years. But he didn’t live to work, he worked so he could enjoy his passions, travelling, the beach, and, of course, his beloved NY Giants and the Red Sox. One of his favorite places to relax was Orient Beach in St. Martin and he would also head to Duxbury Beach whenever the sun was shining. He also enjoyed spending times with his many friends. He had a kind heart, a generous soul, a great laugh, a twinkle in his eye, and was someone you could always count on to show up and , of course, he dressed for the occasion. The famly would also like to thank all or your generous donations to his GO FUND ME PAGE and your outpouring of comfort and support.
