Jane E. (Sheridan) Conley passed away peacefully in Rockland on August 28th, 2017, her loving family by her side. Born in Dorchester, Jane was raised in Mattapan. She was a 50 year resident of Jamaica Plain before moving to Rockland. She enjoyed wintering in Largo, FL. Jane worked many years as a secretary for the Boston School Dept., retiring in 1985. She also was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary. The beloved wife of 63 years of Leo R. Mother of Leo F. Conley and his wife Carol of E. Sandwich, Karen Ryan and her husband William of Plainville, Mary E. Flower and her husband Rick of San Diego, CA, Janet Robak and her husband Richard of Weymouth, John A. Conley and his wife Toni Gross of AZ and the late Ann Marie Conley. Sister of the late Lawrence E. Sheridan, Jr., Paul F. Sheridan and Robert E. Sheridan. Devoted grandmother of 12 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren and loving aunt of nieces and nephews. A Funeral mass will be celebrated at St. Gregory’s Church, Dorchester Friday morning at 10. Visiting hours at the Alfred D. Thomas Funeral Home, 326 Granite Ave., Milton, Thursday 4-8 pm. Burial in New Calvary Cemetery.
