Jeanna Atkinson Suggs, age 54, passed away at Pruitt Health Center in Atlanta, GA on August 28, 2017. She was born on June 5, 1963, to William Mack “Bill” Atkinson, Jr. and the late Patricia Ann Sullivan Atkinson. Jeanna had been a homemaker. She loved her family dearly, and kept in touch with her father on a daily basis. She was always interested in what was happening in the lives of her family. Jeanna loved God. She was a faithful Catholic and was active in her religion. She was a communicant of Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Peachtree City, GA. She cared greatly for others and prayed for them on a regular basis.
Even though Jeanna had been confined to a nursing home for many years due to a car accident, she loved having visitors who were always welcomed with her bright smile. She enjoyed watching movies. Jeanna had a loving, caring spirit which she never lost and she has been a blessing to everyone who knew her. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. Services are planned for Saturday, September 2, 2017, at 11:00 AM in the Henry Chapel of Seven Oaks Funeral Home with visitation planned for one hour prior to service time. Burial will be in Pinecrest Cemetery in Yalobusha County. Jeanna is survived by her father, Bill Atkinson of Water Valley, MS; a daughter, Lauren Ashley Suggs of Denver, CO; a son, Sgt..Ryan Suggs (Shelby) of Ft. Campbell, KY; a sister, Barbara Lynn (Mike) Kakta of Franklin, TN; and three grandsons. Jeanna is preceded in death by her mother, Patricia Ann Sullivan. | ||||
