Jennifer K. (Kendall) Orlando 37, of Natick and formerly of Somerville and Weston, died Saturday August 19, 2017 at the Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston.
She was the beloved wife of Thomas R. Orlando sharing eleven years of marriage.
Born in Boston she was the daughter of Timothy Kendall of Salem, And Nancy (Stoll) Kendall of Natick.
Jennifer was a gifted teacher in the Needham School System for 14 years at the Newman Elementary School. She was a strong advocate for children with special needs in her classroom.
She was devoted to her daughters and large extended family. Jennifer had a beautiful singing voice, was in acapella groups in high school and college, and frequently sang at family functions and weddings.
Jennifer graduated from Weston High School in 1998, earned a Bachelors in Education from the University of Vermont in 2002, and completed her Master’s Degree in Special Education from U Mass Boston in 2007.
In addition to her husband and parents, she is survived by her three daughters, Lillian age nine, Isabelle age six, Avery age three, two brothers, Ben Kendall of Maynard, Alex Kendall of Chicago, her mother in law Ginny, and her husband Wayne Of Rockport, mother in law, Tricia Cunningham of Ireland, sister in law Denise Hurley of NC, and brother in law Sean Orlando of Ireland. She was also the daughter in law of the late Thomas Orlando.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Funeral Service on Friday, August 25th at 10:00 A.M. in the First Congregational Church of Natick.
Burial will follow in Dell Park Cemetery.
Visiting hours in the John Everett and Sons Funeral Home 4 Park Street, at Natick Common are Thursday from 4:00 to 8:00 P.M.
