Obituary

John E. “Jack” Connolly, 91, of Holliston and formerly of Natick died Saturday, August 19, 2017 at the Mary Ann Morse Nursing Home in Natick. He was the beloved husband of Dolores M. (Annesi) Connolly sharing 34 Years of marriage.
A Holliston resident for 34 years he was born in Teaneck N.J. the son of the late Joseph W. and Cecelia (Reilly) Connolly.

Mr. Connolly was a builder for over 30 years and former owner of Connolly Homes, constructing many large neighborhood developments in the Metro West Area. Jack was an avid golfer, thoroughly enjoying the game, always displaying great sportsmanship. He was one of the founding members of the St Linus golf league in Natick serving as treasurer for 40 years. He maintained his home and garden with great care and was a Volunteer for the Meals on Wheels Program in Natick for many years.

Jack was known as a true gentleman, respectful and courteous to all, processing a keen Irish sense of humor, but above all was devoted to his wife and family.

Mr. Connolly was a Veteran of the United States Navy serving during World War II in the Pacific Theatre.

In addition to his wife he is survived by his children Jill P. Connolly of Novato CA, John E. Connolly Jr. on Centerville, Joseph W. Connolly of Milford, Jeanine Lee and her husband William of Clinton, Cheryl Levine and her husband Steven of Arlington, Susan Rioles and her husband Paul of Bellingham, his sisters Joan Daly of Fair Lawn NJ, Janet Guinee and her husband Warren of Centerville ,Doris Fair of Natick, his grandchildren,Jessica Connolly,Nicholas Lee, Brendan Lee, Max Levine, Jenny Levine, Connor Levine, Rachel Rioles , Freddy Rioles ,and many nieces and nephews.

He was also the brother of the late Joseph W. Connolly Jr. and grandfather of the late C.J. Connolly

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral on Thursday August 24 at 10:30 A.M. from the John Everett and Sons Funeral Home 4 Park Street, at Natick Common, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St Linus Church 119 Hartford Street, Natick at 11:30 A.M.

Visiting hours are Wednesday from 4:00 to 7:00 P.M.
