Domenico “Dominic” DiGiovanni, 70, of Brockton died Tuesday, August 15, 2017, at Massachusetts General Hospital, surrounded by his loving family. He was the devoted husband of Sheryl L. (Ducharme) DiGiovanni. Born in Castel del Giudice, Italy, he was the son of the late Giovanni and Florenzina (Mossesso) DiGiovanni. Dominic was raised in Somerville and graduated from Somerville High School in 1966. He had been a resident of Brockton for over 30 years.

Dominic had worked for the TSA at Logan Airport, retiring in 2009 due to health issues. Previously he had been a production manager for David Brooks in Brockton and a trim buyer for K.G.R. Sportswear in Lawrence and Breckenridge Sportswear in Boston.

Dominic’s most cherished times were spent with family, especially Thursday night dinners and all holiday gatherings, at the dinner table enjoying great food, conversation, and lots of laughs. He also loved playing softball and golf and going to the races with fellow co-workers. He will be remembered as a very loving, caring, and sensitive man. He was also quiet and always there if you needed him.

He was the father of Helen Hagenau, wife to Mark of Derry, NH; Renae Brown, wife to Keith of Brockton; Stuart Thellen, husband to Patti of Brockton; daughter in law Kendra Thellen (wife of) the late Brian Thellen of Brockton.
