Weihe, Arthur Lee, 83, was called home August 14, 2017 at his home in Louisville.
He was born to Alvin and Kathleen (Jones) Weihe on March 2, 1934 in Louisville.
Art was a devoted and loving family man. His family was everything to him. He was the owner and operator of Shively Truck Service for over 60 yrs., where he continued to work every day, a KY Colonel, a Baptist by faith, an avid U of L & NASCAR fan, and enjoyed restoring his 55 Ford pickup.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 60 years, Charlene (Claypool); his daughter, Theresa Cole (Gary); grandchildren: Pamela Percefull (Joe), and Brent Rowe (Erin); great-grandchildren: Reed, Aidan, Nate, Aubrey, Isaac, Silas, and Norah; brothers: Doug (Bonnie), and Rodger (Sharon) Weihe; and a sister, Carolyn Burress (Bob).
Funeral services will be Thursday at 12:00 PM at Owen Funeral Home 5317 Dixie Hwy. Burial is in Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation is Wednesday 4:00-8:00 PM.
