Martha McMillan Obituary - Water Valley MS

Martha McMillan, age 91, passed away Tuesday, July 11, 2017 at the Yalobusha County Nursing Facility in Water Valley, MS. She was a daughter of Leo S. McMillan and Vastie Jenkins McMillan, born on September 6, 1925. Martha was a teller in the banking industry, and served in the Jr. Auxiliary, The Order of the Eastern Star, and was a member of First Baptist Church in Bruce, MS.

Visitation is planned for 9 AM Friday, July 14, 2017 at Seven Oaks Funeral Home, and the family and friends will process to Oak Hill Cemetery at 10 AM to begin a graveside service. Bro. Freddie Moorman will officiate the service. Scotty Cotten, Chase Duke, Charles Duke, and Randy Cook will serve as pallbearers.

Martha is survived by four nieces, Kathee Campbell of Parks City, UT, Beth Cook of Flowood, MS, Karen Duke of Bruce, MS, and Deanna Lenard of Houston, TX. 9 great nieces and nephews, and 5 great great nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, Dr. Mabry McMillan and Dr. Dean McMillan.
