Corey Gilardi, of Everett, passed away suddenly at home, on Saturday, July 8. He was 84. Born and raised in the North End, he was the son of the late Accurzio and Carmella (Catinzaro) Gilardi.

Corey worked as a fisherman when he was younger. Once the fishing industry began to change he would switch over to the construction industry before his retirement. He was a devoted father, grandfather and friend he will be remembered for the love he shared with everyone.

Corey was the loving father of Diane Tanso and her husband Robert of Tewksbury, Debra Gilardi and her companion Joseph Graffeo of Everett. Loving step-father of Dana Guarino of East Boston. He was the beloved grandfather of Robert C. Tanso, Briana and Corey Graffeo. Dear brother of Anna Gilardi, Leonard Gilardi, Rita Leone, Richard Gilardi, Joseph Gilardi, Camille Barton and the late Stephen and Anthony Gilardi. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

A funeral mass will be celebrated in Sacred Heart Church, 12 North Sq., Boston, Friday July 14th at 10 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend and may visit with the family at church one hour prior to mass. Services will conclude with burial at Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett.
