Ann Dorothea Geishecker, age 81, a longtime Natick resident, died peacefully surrounded by her family on Sunday evening, July 9, 2017 at Mary Ann Morse Healthcare Center in Natick. She was the devoted wife of the late Edward Paul Geishecker for 53 years.

Born in Worcester and raised in the Burncoat neighborhood, she was the daughter of Timothy Daniel and Mabel (Skog) Sullivan. Ann was a 1954 graduate of North High School and continued her education at Massachusetts Memorial Hospital in Boston, where she obtained her degree in nursing. Ann and Ed married in 1963 and made their home in Brighton prior to settling in Natick in 1965, where they lived for over 50 years. Ann and Ed raised their three children together in Natick with many laughs, joy, and happiness and shared their love for 53 years. Ann’s life revolved around her family. She was very involved with her children’s school, sports, and activities and enjoyed gatherings with family and friends. Each summer Ann and Ed would take a two-week camping trip and explore new locations throughout New England, occasionally going as far south as Virginia or as far north as Prince Edward Island.

Ann, who had a love of caring for people, returned to nursing at Bethany Health Care Center in Framingham to provide compassionate care for elderly nuns after her children were in high school. She was at her happiest when surrounded by her family, including her grandchildren.

Ann is survived by her much-loved children, Paul E. Geishecker and his wife Christine of Medfield, Timothy A. Geishecker and his husband Andres Consuegra of Washington, DC, and Joanne Geishecker of Natick; their adored grandchildren, Hayden, Ethan, Nolan, and Elise; and her sisters, Edla S.
