Catherine Ternes Brechner, age 55, of Amesbury, died suddenly on Saturday, July 1, 2017.
Cathy is survived by her partner, Stephen D'Auvergne of Haverhill; her former husband, Roger Brechner of Rancho Palos Verdes, CA; her mother, Patricia Ternes of Sherborn and her sister, Elizabeth Zeiss of New Canaan, CT. She was predeceased by her father, William Ternes of Sherborn.
After graduating with a BA from Syracuse University, Cathy worked at AARP in both Boston and Washington. Her true love was helping people and to pursue this goal, she attained a Master in Social Work from Springfield College in MA. With this background, she was able to touch many peoples' lives, both young and old.
After a private family funeral, interment followed at the Pine Hill Cemetery, Sherborn.
