Kenneth J. Casperson, Jr, passed away Monday, July 3rd, 2017 in the VA Medical Center, Providence. He was the loving husband of Leonor. (Salazar) Casperson. They had been married for 36 years.
Born in Hampton Beach, Virginia, he was a son of the late Kenneth J. Casperson, Sr and Patricia Ann (White) Flaminio and her husband, Robert. Kenneth served in the United States Navy. He was an accountant. He was also a faithful member of the Nelson-Mack Narragansett VFW Post #4651 and the former president of the Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie #4444.
He is also survived by his daughters, Schanny L. Lopez of Cranston and Kacey K. Barone and her husband, Steven of Cranston, and his beloved granddaughters, Gianna and Adryanna Barone, as well as his brothers, Daniel Casperson, Sr of Coventry, and Robert Flaminio, Jr, of Cranston, his nephew, Daniel Casperson, Jr of Cranston, and his nieces, Leeann Purtee of Coventry and Kristen Nunes of Warwick.
Funeral services will be held Friday at 9:30am in Rhode Island Veterans Cemetery, Exeter.
