Mr. Richard S. Hanson, 90, of Medford passed peacefully June 24th at Glen Ridge Nursing Care Center. Born in Malden he had been an area resident all his life. Mr. Hanson served honorably in the United States Army and is a Veteran of World War II. He was a retired employee of Exxon Oil Corporation. Mr. Hanson enjoyed hot rods, music, boats, and cars but most of all he loved to spend time with his family. The widower of Helen (Ritcher) Hanson, he is survived by two sons; Richard Hanson Jr. And his wife Anne of Medford, Douglas Hanson and his wife Debra of Medford. One sister Joan Blake of Ipswich, there are four grandchildren and two nieces.
