Barbara Jean Bathauer, 72, of Anderson went to be with the Lord on June 23, 2017 at Community Northview Care Center.
She was born on August 17, 1944 in Anderson to Glen and Ruth (Kennon) Lucas.
She worked at Harvest Market as a cashier for 14 years and retired in 2005. She also worked at Frisch's and Community Hospital.
She attended West Side Holiness Tabernacle Church. She was a member of Jolly Keenagers.
She is survived by 3 sons, Ken (Tracey) Bathauer, James Lee (fiancée', Rose) Bathauer, and Robert (Barbara) Bathauer; Sisters, Diane Spearman, Ginger Alexander, Kenyra Hoover, Debbie Bybee, and Ruth Anne Lucas; 5 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren and a special friend, Tom Stohler.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Ruth Lucas Hamilton; 2 fathers, Glen Lucas and Harold Hamilton; her husband, Ken Bathauer; a brother, Rick Lucas; a sister, Eva Henry; a granddaughter, Nola; and 2 nephews, Danny Bybee and Bryan Hoover.
Service will be held at 12:00 Noon on Wednesday, June 28, 2017 at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service. Burial will follow in Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 10:00am- 12:00 Noon on Wednesday at the funeral home.
