NEW BEDFORD… Guy G. Pittsley, Jr., 88, of New Bedford passed away Thursday, June 22, 2017 at Sacred Heart Nursing Home.
He was the husband of the late Evelyn (Roy) Pittsley.
Born in Middleborough, He was a son of the late Guy G. Sr. and Irene T. (Page) Pittsley and had lived most of his life in New Bedford.
Mr. Pittsley was a communicant of St. Antony’s Church. He enjoyed watching sports and gameshows, dancing and was an avid New York Yankees fan.
Survivors include his daughters; Ann Donavan and Claudette Silvia, both of New Bedford, his sons; Brian Pittsley of New Bedford and James Pittsley of Fairhaven, his brothers; Lewis Pittsley of Hartford, CT and Ralph Pittsley of Gardner, MA, 14 grandchildren, 3 step-grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren, Molly, several nieces and nephews. He was father of the late Dennis and Richard Pittsley and brother of the late George Pittsley and Shirley Maire.
At the request of the family, services will be private.
