Paul Robert Mitchell, Sr. 58, of Douglas Pike, Burrillville, died unexpectedly Wednesday morning, June 21, 2017 at his home. He was the loving husband of Helen (Cabral) Mitchell. They had been married for 32 years.
Besides his wife, he is survived by his sons, Paul Mitchell, Jr. and Ryan Mitchell, and his sisters, Trish Riel and Donna Mitchell. He was the brother of the late Peter Mitchell, Jr.
Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Peter J. Mitchell and Rita R. (Gilmore) Mitchell.
Paul was an avid outdoorsman who could be found fishing off the Barrington Bridge in his spare time. He was a 25 year employee at Garelick Farms in Franklin, MA. He loved nothing more than spending time with his family and loved ones, and was always quick with a laugh and eager to help others. He was a loving and devoted father and family man who will be greatly missed.
A Mass of Christian Burial to which relatives and friends are invited will be held Saturday at 10am in St. Theresa Church, 35 Dion Drive, Harrisville. Visitation Friday 5-7pm in Anderson-Winfield Home, Greenville. Burial will be private.
