Jenna L. Birdsall, age 36, of Minneapolis, MN, formerly of Brockton and Somerville, passed away unexpectedly June 15, 2017. She was the loving daughter of Jo-Ann M. Birdsall of Brockton and the late Stephen M. Birdsall and survived by her older brother Eric of Cambridge. She was born and raised in Brockton and had lived in Minnesota for the past 4 years.
Jenna was a 1999 graduate of Brockton High School and had also attended Bridgewater State University.
In her free time, Jenna enjoyed spending time with family and friends, cooking, listening to music, going to the movies and geocaching. She was very passionate about stroke support groups after the personal effects it had on her father and family.
Jenna will be remembered as a caring, empathetic and friendly person who was beautiful inside and out. She had a wonderful sense of humor and was always willing to lend a helping hand. In addition to her family, Jenna was very proud of her independence.
Jenna is also survived by her grandmother Mary P. Donovan of Brockton. She leaves her Godparents Salvatore and Deborah Pullia; her aunts and uncles Mary and the late David Paris, Hugh and Patricia MacKinnon, Paul and Nancy Kerrigan, Janis Kretcher and Neil Campbell, Christy Brewer, Lou Ann and John Slack, and John and Toni Vujnovich; and 2 great-aunts and 2 great-uncles. She was the beloved granddaughter of the late George L. Donovan, Ralph and Martha Leach and John and Clara Vujnovich. She also leaves many aunts, uncles and cousins.
The family would like to extend their thanks to the staff of the M Health Clinic and Surgery Center in Minneapolis, MN and to the staff of the University of Minnesota Medical Center and Hospital (Fairview Campus) for their loving care and support.
Visiting hours will be held in the Conley Funeral Home 138 Belmont St. (rte. 123) Brockton on Thursday 4-8pm. The funeral procession will gather at the funeral home on Friday at 10am for a funeral Mass in Our Lady of Lourdes Church at 11am. Burial in Calvary Cemetery at a later date.
