Raymond Scott "Boom Boom" Baxter

Raymond Scott “Boom Boom” Baxter, 51, went to be with Our Lord on June 13, 2017 at his home in Prosser. Ray was born on May 19, 1966 in Kennewick. His parents were Tom and Grace Baxter. He was a graduate of Burbank High School and worked as a welder for Tankmax Services in Pasco.
Ray met the love of his life, Lori Wigley and the couple married in Stanfield, Oregon on February 8, 2013. Ray and Lori lived life to the fullest as best friends and soul mates. They found spiritual freedom riding their bike as much as they could. Ray was a very special man who had countless friends and will be truly missed by all who knew him. He loved riding his motorcycle “Val”, welding, working and hanging out with his special friends. He inspired many wherever he went. Ray was a wonderful father who loved his boys deeply and a very devoted son and brother.
He is survived by his wife, Lori of Prosser; sons, Thomas Baxter of Kennewick and Brad of Lacy, WA; his dad, Tom Baxter of Stanfield, OR; brothers, Bob Baxter of Burbank and Dan Baxter of Stanfield; sisters, Diane Haigh of Stanfield, Anita Mc Cord of Burbank and Teresa Baxter of Oregon; Keith Falls of Stanfield; step-son, Jacob Wigley of Richland; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother, Grace Baxter; sister, Jeannie Baxter; brother, Terry Baxter; and his grandparents.
There will be no services per Ray and Lori’s request. Ray wanted to be remembered as always joyful, kind and loving. Memorial contributions may be made to the GoFundMe account of Lori Baxter or donation account under Lori Baxter at any Banner Bank location or the Cancer Treatment Centers of Arizona.
