Marco F. Mirlocca of Medford died on Sunday, June 11, at Lawrence Memorial Hospital. Raised and educated in Somerville and Medford, he was the son of the late Vito and Mary (Camarotta) Mirlocca. Marco proudly served in the U.S. Army during World War II. After the war he was employed as a carpenter. Marco was a member of Local 33 for 76 years, and a longstanding member of the Somerville Logan Post 6800.

Marco was the beloved husband of the late Lucy (DiCio) Mirlocca, and the devoted father of Steven Mirlocca and his wife Christine of Manchester, NH, Marilyn Morgan and her husband Robert of Wakefield, Michele Mirlocca of Ludlow, and Mark P. Mirlocca and his wife Maryanne of Manchester, NH. He was the loving grandfather of Glenn Mirlocca and his wife Jennie of New Portland, ME, Mark Mirlocca II and his wife Ayanna of Nashua, NH, and Nicholas Mirlocca of Manchester, NH, and the loving great grandfather of Lucy, Mark III, and Whitney. Marco was the brother of Joseph Mirlocca of Florida, and the late Andrew Mirlocca, Rose McDonald, Louise Rossetti, and Salvatore Mirlocca.

Funeral from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford on Thursday, June 15, at 10:30 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Joseph Church, 118 High St., Medford, at 11:30 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford. Visiting hours Wednesday, June 14, from 4 through 8 PM.
