Amalia Paulina (Petrucelli) Puleo of Plymouth, MA., age 95, passed away peacefully Monday morning, June 12th at home surrounded by her loving family.

"Milly" was born December 25, 1921 in Boston to Carmela and Antonio Petrucelli, originally from Italy. Milly was married on May 3, 1942 to her late, life long sweetheart, Gus Salvatore Puleo.

Lovingly she devoted her life to her family. She was the mother of five daughters; Roberta Puleo Kempt of Attleboro, Lorraine Seibel and her husband Karl of NH., Mary Ann Costa and late husband Joseph of Plymouth, Camille McNamara and her husband J. Michael of Plymouth, and Donna Puleo of CT. Grandmother of 9; Great grandmother of 10; Sister to Isabel Greto of CT and late brother Emilio Petrucelli of New York. In addition, Milly’s extended family who she loved very much includes Theresa, Vinny, Mary, and the late Bernice, Joe, Viola, Pam and Rita. She also leaves behind many other loved ones who held a special place in her heart.

A dedicated homemaker to her adoring family, Milly had made her home in Plymouth for the past ten years, and previously resided in Attleboro and Norwood. She was a communicant of St. Bonaventure Parish in Manomet, and enjoyed crocheting, knitting and board games. She was also a master at scrabble and a whiz on her iPad.

Milly always had a smile on her face and joy in her heart, and was an inspiration to all who knew her. She had a kind word for everyone she met and will be missed but never forgotten.

Her funeral Mass, to which relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend, will be celebrated on Friday, June 16th at 11:00 A.M. in St. Mary’s Church, 330 Pratt St. (Route 106) Mansfield. Burial will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Mansfield.

Visiting hours will be held on Thursday, June 15th from 5:00-8:00 P.M. at the Sherman & Jackson Funeral Home, 55 North Main St., Mansfield.
