Anne Marie Baglini, 84, died Wednesday, June 7, 2017 at Hope Hospice and Palliative Care Inpatient Center. She was the beloved wife of Paul L. Baglini. They had been married for 63 years.
Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Gennaro and Lena (Barbato) Palumbo. She had worked as an administrative secretary to Dr. William F. Flannigan on CCRI’s Flannigan campus in Lincoln and Warwick for many years. She had previously worked at Rhode Island College in the same position.
Besides her beloved husband, she is survived by her devoted children, Judi Zarrella and her husband Vincent of Saunderstown, Steve Baglini and his wife Sharon of Houston Texas and David Baglini of Smithfield, and the late Paul Baglini Jr. She was also the cherished Nana of Steven, Eric and Christopher Zarrella, and Justin, Adrianna and Selena Baglini. She is also survived by her brother, Gennaro Palumbo and his wife Sandy of Connecticut and Florida. She was the sister of the late Anthony, Vincent and Robert Palumbo.
Funeral will be held Monday at 10am in the Anderson-Winfield Home, Greenville. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday at 11:00am in St. Michael’s Church, Smithfield. Burial will follow in St. Ann’s Cemetery, Cranston. Visitation will be held Monday from 9:00-10:00am. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St Jude's Children's Hospital or Animal Rescue of Rhode Island.
