Bruce Michael, 66, of Anderson went home to be with the Lord following an extended illness on June 7, 2017 at his residence.
Bruce was born in Anderson April 8, 1951 the son of Daniel and Helen (Stanley) Michael. He was a car salesman/manager for many years. He was a member of Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie 174. He enjoyed listening to music, watching movies and spending time with his nieces and nephews. His heart was as big as the world and he didn't know a stranger.
He is survived by wife of 30 years, Debbie (Welling) Michael of Anderson, son, Nathan Holmes of Detroit, MI; brother, Merrill (Angela) Michael of Anderson and sister, Lucinda (Carson) Humes of Frankton; half brother, Norman Keller; several nieces, nephews, great nieces, nephews and several cousins and two uncles, Marcus Michael and Frank Stanley; and a dear friend, Louie Valquez.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Service will be at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, June 13, 2017 at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service with Keith Singer officiating. Burial will follow in Perkinsville Cemetery.
Visitation will be Monday from 4 to 8 p.m. with a FOE memorial service in the evening and Tuesday one hour prior to the service all at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be given to American Cancer Society.
