Billie Faye Jones Obituary - Water Valley MS

Billie Faye Jones, age 85, passed away June 7, 2017 at North MS Medical Center of Tupelo, MS. She was born in Greenville, MS to the late Joseph T. and Inora Rodgers Harbison. She retired from Holley Carburetor, and enjoyed sewing, reading, working crossword puzzles, and spending time doing yard work. She was a member of Bethany Baptist Church in Panola county.

Visitation will be from 1 PM until 3 PM at Seven Oaks Funeral Home on Friday, June 9, 2017. The funeral service will follow immediately after the visitation at 3 PM in the Henry Chapel of Seven Oaks with Rev. Tim Ellis officiating. Burial will be in Forrest Memorial Cemetery in Batesville, MS with Billy Prince, T J Prince, Doug Canoy, Sean Canoy, Michael Oswalt, Tony Jones, and Perry Shanks serving as pallbearers.

Billie is survived by six daughters, Barbara Canoy of Oxford, MS, Sandra Merritt (Michael) of West Monroe, LA, Marilyn Schreyer (Karl) of Houston, TX, Kathy Thacker of Senatobia, MS, Norma Prince (Tommy) of Batesville, MS, and Bonnie Parker (Mark) of Courtland, MS; three sons, Thomas A. Sullivan (Debbie) of Brenham, TX, John Sullivan (Laura) of Gulfport, MS, and David Sullivan (Susie) of Batesville, MS; four sisters, Margie Godwin of Water Valley, MS, Janet Frederick of Kansas City, MO, Connie Sprouse of Water Valley, MS, and Linda Stern of New Orleans, LA; 24 grandchildren; 44 great grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James A. Sullivan.
