Marjorie (Woods) Tucker, 89, a former resident of Salem, passed away on Wednesday, May 31, 2017 at the Atlanta Medical Center in Atlanta following a brief illness.
Born and raised in Philadelphia, PA, She was the daughter of the late Bertha Woods. Marjorie has been a resident of the North Shore for nearly 40 years and for most of those years she was a resident of Salem. She was employed at General Electric for 15 years as a switch board operator. Marjorie was a faithful member of the Jehovah Witness Congregation, Kingdom Hall. She had been a Jehovah’s Witness for well over 50 years. She will be greatly missed by her family and many friends.
Marjorie is survived by her children, Raheem Al-Kaleem of Worcester, MA, Gail Tucker and Karen Tucker both of Atlanta, GA, Allegra Penn of Peabody, MA, Clarence Tucker of Salem, MA, Shayne Tucker of Atlanta, GA, Jayson Tucker of Bell Canyon, CA, as well as a host of loving grand and great-grandchildren and friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to gather at the Levesque Funeral Home, 163 Lafayette St. [Route 114 / 1-A] Salem on Saturday, June 10, 2017 for a visitation from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM with her memorial service to commence at 10:30.
