Angelina T.A. Baxter, 70

Angelina T. A. “Angie” (Nistal) Baxter, age 70, of Bellingham, formerly of Milford, Foxboro and Mansfield, passed away peacefully, in the comfort of her home on Monday, May 29, 2017. She was the beloved wife of David G. Baxter, to whom she was wed on April 10, 2006.

Born in New York City, New York on July 24, 1946, she was a loving daughter of the late Toribio Nistal, Jr. and Florencia (Figueroa) Nistal.

Angie grew up and was educated on Staten Island, New York, and was a graduate of Curtis High School. Prior to retiring, she worked in the finance and credit departments at Digital

A resident of Bellingham for the past ten years, Angie had previously made her home in Milford, Foxboro and Mansfield. Her favorite times spent were those amongst her adoring family.

She never lost her New York spirit and always remained a loyal fan of the New York Yankees. Angie’s favorite hobby was fishing, and she also enjoyed reading, traveling, of which Florida was her favorite point of destination and will always be remembered for the meticulous manner in which she kept her home.

In addition to her beloved husband, she is survived by her loving and devoted daughter Michele M. McKeon of Mansfield. She was the cherished grandmother of Nicholas McKeon and Shane McKeon, both of Mansfield. She was the dear sister of Lucinda Nistal of Texas, and the late Margaretta Barrera and Helena Nistal, and is also survived by her loving nephews Donald Ayalla of Attleboro, Marc Ayalla of Mansfield and Michael Catalfumo of Texas.

Visiting hours, to which relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend, will be held on Friday, June 2nd from 4:00-7:00 P.M. at the Sherman & Jackson Funeral Home, 55 North Main St., Mansfield.

Services and burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, Angie’s family has requested that donations in her memory be made to the Big Brother Big Sister Donation Center, 5 Mear Road, Holbrook, MA 02343.
