FALL RIVER – Alice E. Medeiros, age 95, passed away peacefully at Southpoint Rehab Center surrounded by her loving family on May 24, 2017. She was the beloved wife of the late Antone Medeiros. Born in Fall River, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Mary Ferreira. Alice loved to dance.
Alice is survived by her children: Richard Moniz of Swansea, Frank Moniz and his wife Geraldine of Swansea and Alfred Gagne of Fall River; brother Daniel Ferreira. She also leaves behind several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her children: John B. Moniz, Joseph Moniz, Arthur Moniz, Dennis Moniz and Sandra Moniz Fontaine; siblings: James Cordeiro, Charlie Ferreira, John Ferreira, Mary Lou Botelho and Hilda Stevens.
