William S. Moore, 87 of Londonderry, NH died Saturday May 20, 2017 in the Pleasant Valley Nursing Center, Derry, NH. He was born in Manchester, NH on May 25, 1929 the son of the late Stanley E. and Gertrude L. (Cross) Moore. He was a lifelong resident of Londonderry. He was a US Navy WWII veteran and served aboard the USS Charles S. Ware. After his military service he was employed as a heavy equipment operator for his brother Richard of Moore’s Trucking and also for Continental Paving.
He is survived by wife, Bette Moore of Londonderry, his sister, Marjorie Keith and her husband Mark of Clinton, CT, and several nieces and nephews.
There are no calling hours. Private graveside services were held in Glenwood Cemetery, Londonderry.
In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to the favorite charity of one’s choice. The Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium of Derry and Londonderry is assisting the family with arrangements.
