Age 78 of Maplewood
Passed away peacefully surrounded by family on May 17, 2017. Born in Rochester, MI on May 28, 1938 to Ed and Iva Berry. Growing up in Belvidere, IL, Bud was preceded in death by his parents; and siblings, Barbara, Dan and Diane. Survived by his wife of 49 1/2 years, Sherry; son, James; daughter, Kristin (Rob) Thompson; grandchildren, Samantha (David) Kiritschenko, Isaac and Makayla Thompson; great grandsons, David Jr. "DJ" and Dalton Kiritschenko; brothers, Tom and John; nieces, nephews, and many friends. A retired 3M safety engineer, Bud had many interests including curling, his Finnish heritage, Lions Club, watching the MN Twins and Green Bay Packers, ethnic restaurants and visiting with people. Memorial Service Monday (May 22, 2017) 11:00 AM at ST. MARK'S EV. LUTHERAN CHURCH (Door 7W), 2499 N. Helen St., North St. Paul. Visitation Sunday from 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM at SANDBERG FUNERAL HOME, 2593 E. 7th Ave., North St. Paul and one hour prior to the Service at the church. Memorials preferred to St. Mark's Lutheran - Building Improvement, Children and Youth Ministry or Music Ministry.
