Obituary

Cathy J. (Moses) Flink-Harrison, 65, passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, May 16, 2017 in the loving care of her family. She was born in Worcester, a daughter of the late Emanuel C. and Evelyn L. (Gleason) Moses.

Cathy attended both North and South High School, where she graduated. She later earned a degree to further better herself for her job. Cathy began working for the City of Worcester School Department more than 30 years ago, retiring in November 2016 as the Senior Information Systems Trainer. Prior to her retirement, Cathy was awarded the Thomas Green Employee award, which she was nominated by her peers. It was noted at that time that “Cathy was a dream employee who seems to make everything look easy”. She loved her job, especially being able to offer help to her colleagues that called upon her. Work was not the only important part of Cathy’s life. She was a loving wife, mother and “Mammie” to her grandchildren. She loved to visit the ocean, especially along the beaches of Cape Cod. An avid sports fan, Cathy enjoyed supporting the Red Sox and Bruins. She always had time for her family and friends. She will be forever missed.

Cathy leaves her devoted husband, C. Perry Harrison; her daughter, Sara J. Anifantis and her husband, William of Spencer; her step-son, Matthew Harrison and his wife, Nicole of Corinth, ME; her three sisters, Carol Hintlian of Worcester, June Rivard of Las Vegas, NV and Susan LeRoy of Holden; her three grandchildren, Soto, Minos and Sadie; her two step-grandchildren, Emma and Makenzy; 2 godsons as well as several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her two brothers, Leonard C. and Richard A. Moses.
