Petrella, Salvatore J. "Sammy" -- of Medford, May 9th.Beloved husband of Barbara (Bicchieri) Petrella. Devoted father of Peter Petrella and his wife Dorothy "Donna" of Peabody, Frank Petrella and his wife Renee' of Medford. Loving grandfather of Christina and Ernie Ardolino, Anthony Petrella, Andrea Petrella, Peter "PJ" Petrella and his wife Casey and Samantha Petrella. Loving great-grandfather of Aiden, Nathanael and Levi. Dear brother of Mary Curro and her husband Frank, Josie DellaPenna and her late husband Frank, Gaetana "Gay" Kowalski and her late husband Eugene, the late Domenic Petrella and his surviving wife Pauline, the late Joseph Petrella and his wife Virginia, the late Sebastiano "Yano" Petrella and his wife Rita. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Salvatore's funeral will be from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., MEDFORD Monday, May 15th at 9:30 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Joseph Church, 118 High St., Medford, at 10:30 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Sunday 4-8 PM. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
