Anne M. (Kiernan) Barron passed away peacefully, her loving family by her side on Monday, May 8th. Born in Providence, RI , Anne was raised and educated in Providence. She was educated at St. Mary’s Academy of the Visitation, Providence and a graduate of Northeastern University. She was a resident of Milton for 35 years before moving to present residence in Quincy.She was a former Arlington School Teacher and an employee of the United States Postal Service for 25 years, retiring in 2015. Anne loved spending time with her grandchildren and visiting the ocean. She is the beloved wife of Joseph G. Barron and devoted mother of Daniel P. and his wife Laura of Milton and Joseph M. Barron and his wife Kimberly of Canton. Daughter of the late Charles and Anne Kiernan and daughter-in-law of Patricia Barron of Quincy and the late Joseph G. Barron. Sister of Mary Puricelli of Easton, Kathy Miner of Fl, Joan Kraus, Peggy DelGaudio, Maureen O’Connor, Charles and Kevin Kiernan all of RI and the late Susan Nacci. Cherished grandmother of 5 loving grandchildren. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. A funeral Mass at St. Agatha Church, Milton Saturday morning at 10.Visiting hours at the Alfred D. Thomas Funeral Home, 326 Granite Ave., Milton Friday 4 to 7PM.
