Paul A. Callahan (Ret. MSG U.S. Army) of Milton, age 94, passed away peacefully at home May 4, 2017. Born in Boston, he grew up in Quincy and graduated from Quincy High School, class of 1940. Paul served in the Army retiring as a Master Sergeant. He served for 20 years, during WW II in Africa and Germany and in the South Pacific during Korea. He also was a retired employee of the U.S. Postal Service at Milton Post Office. The cherished brother of Rita M. and Joseph P., both of Milton, and Robert V. Callahan of Franklin and Irene C. Saddler of MD and NC. He was predeceased by his brother Francis E. "Frank" Callahan. Paul is also survived by many nieces & nephews. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Agatha Church, Milton, Tuesday morning, May 9, 2017 at 10:30. Visiting hours will be held at the Alfred D. Thomas Funeral Home, 326 Granite Ave., Milton, Monday, May 8, 2017 from 3 to 7 pm. Burial will be in Milton Cemetery.
