McKnight and her husband Stephen of Needham, John R. Steele and his wife Dorothy of Marshfield, Esther A. Taylor of Plymouth, William D. Steele and Paula of Seabrook, NH, Joseph P. Steele of Seabrook, NH, Maureen F. Steverman and her husband Robert of Needham, Nancy E. Fowler of Marshfield. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Jimmy was a city kid playing street hockey with his brothers, bowling, selling newspapers on the subway, family trips to Castle Island, John Wayne movies at the Fields Corner Theater - happy memories. In recent decades Jimmy loved family gatherings and his friends at Charles River Center, and we loved Jim.
Funeral from the George F. Doherty & Sons Funeral Home, 1305 Highland Ave. (Exit 19B off 128) NEEDHAM on Monday at 9:15am followed by a Funeral Mass in Our Lady Help of Christians Church, Newton at 10:30am. Relatives and friends kindly invited. Visiting hours on Sunday 3-6. Interment in Mt. Benedict Cemetery, West Roxbury.
